Here is my list of books I am reading for this month…
(If you hover over the books with your curser you can read who the authors are).

(Finished So Much More.)

(Just finished Lady in Waiting.)
Yes…I do tend to read a few books at the same time. I take after my mom – but at least I finish them, unlike my mom who is in the middle of MANY! :D
What books are you reading?

Good morning Kira! Your list of books look fascinating. So Much More is one of my all time favourites. Home Making has been on my list for years…I hope you enjoy it.
My list of books is scattered about the house. You see, it’s not a list exactly, it’s like two dozens sheets of loose paper with names and of books and their authors scratched on them.
Have a Great Day!

Hey Kira!
Looks like they are great books to read!! Enjoy reading them, God bless.

!
Yikes!! I am reading around four books at the moment, which is really too many! I would prefer to have one recreational, one school, and perhaps one hard-going book. Instead, I have three hard-going-ish books going at the same time!! :l
I’m reading:
The Puzzle of Ancient Man by Donald Chittick
Beautiful Girlhood by Karen Andreola
Don’t Waste Your Life by John Piper
Farmer Boy by Laura Ingalls Wilder
What did you think about ‘So Much More’? We have watched ‘Return of the Daughters’, the ‘follow-up’ documentary after the book. I’d be interested to see what you think about it!
Though I really enjoyed the book, there were times I felt they came off a bit strong in certain areas. I am all for women staying home and raising a family, but can anyone really say that it is NEVER God’s will for some women to go off to college and have a career?
Other than that, I think there were some great aspects that can be learned from, and they addressed some excellent topics that could encourage many.
I agree with you Kira – I personally don’t want to go to Uni because there is nothing that University can give me that is worth going for that I am passionate about, and that I am not content to learn at home. I think it has to be a God thing; if God tells you to stay, then stay, but if He tells you to go, then go.
Watching their documentary (and Mum and I are wanting to get their book too) was interesting though because now that I know I don’t want to go to University, another question remains: what do I do now? The possibilities are endless!
