The Mission of a Christian

Hi, everyone!  I hope you all had a good Easter!  I’m sorry it’s taken me a while to get this up!  I was tagged with 50 Things a while ago by Allison at Letter From Christ.  :)  Thank you Allison! 

Rules are: Try to come up with 50 facts about yourself as you can. If you’re tagged you must try to do it! Its o.k. if you don’t make it all the way to 50. You may use things from previous tags. Just have fun!  

So here I go…

1. I am a saver!  Though…
2. I’m a neat freak, so I don’t mind getting rid of stuff when I feel things are getting too cluttered!
3. I love the country and I’ve always pictured living on lots of acreage in the future
4. I am a social person, though I don’t mind hanging out by myself
5. I’m an animal lover!
6. I will be 15 on May 10
7. I love to cook and bake and…
8. I am very passionate about learning how to sew more and learning homemaking skills which will be useful in the future when I’m married or single
9. I love to read, and there’s no stopping me once I pick up a good book
10. I enjoy cleaning, especially when I have some good Christian music turned up in the background 
11. I play the piano (and have recently quit flute) and am starting guitar
12. I have taken piano for over seven years now, and I’m hoping to start teaching piano one day
13. I have cut both mine and my sister’s hair when we were young – a big chunk out of the bangs!  It looked pretty bad for a while! lol  My mom was NOT happy
14. I am a night owl – and can never get to sleep till close to midnight!  
15. I have a terrible, terrible fear of bees
16. I have never gotten stung by one…yet
17. I am terribly, terribly afraid of heights!! 
18. I am a water drinker now!  I have quit drinking pop and surprisingly, I don’t really like it anymore
19. My least favorite chore is folding clothes – I don’t know why!  I’d rather scrub the floors than do it…
20. I’m a talker, and I tend to interrupt sometimes *sigh*
21. I love to knit and I want to get back into crocheting
22. I love to babysit and I just adore little children!
23. I tend to forget things easily – just the teenage years, right?
24. I’d rather converse via email than by phone
25. Whenever I see a mess, needless of where I am, I feel this urge to have to clean it up
26. I faithfully read my Bible every night, and I love reading through my devotionals and books on spiritual growth that I have in quite the stack by my bed  
27. My favorite color is lime green
28. I have a bad habit of biting my nails
29. I used to sleep walk when I was younger. Now I just talk in my sleep
30. I’m looking forward to starting driver’s Ed next week!!
31. I’m always drawn to the purse section when I’m at the store, and yes…sometimes I end up coming home with one – again!  lol
32. I am the “wear for comfort” type person
33. I’d rather learn something that can be utilized in the future, or else not at all
34. I believe in saving my first kiss till my wedding day
35. I have little patience (Working on it!)
36. I am an outdoors person
37. I used to love all kinds of bugs when I was younger (not any more) and once spent my leisure by dropping ants intp spider webs around my yard, and being fascinated by the different ways the spiders captured them
38. There are times where I completely blank out when I’m in the middle of talking and forget what I’m talking about (believe me, that happens only rarely)
39. I have written tons of stories when I was younger myself and with friends, and almost all of them are unfinished
40. I don’t like tennis shoes.  I’d rather wear flats or sandals (Not to mention, I don’t like to wear socks)
41. I like to have everything neat, orderly and scheduled
42. I have a certain spot for everything in my room, and…
43. I would never let anyone organize or clean it except for myself!  haha.  I am very picky when it comes to where my things go
44. My least favorite subject in school is math.  I dislike it very, very much!!
45. My favorite subjects in school are history and Bible.  I am loving the Sonlight’s Core 200-History of God’s Kingdom I am going through, and am enjoying it very much
46. I am allergic to cats
47. I’m not much of a TV person, infact, I can go for a week without turning it on, but when I do…
48. I tend to watch the Food Network channel, my favorite shows: Survivor Man and Man vs. Wild, or a good movie
49. I have a heart for the lost, and since third grade I have always wanted to be a missionary
50. Many people pronounce my name wrong…I don’t know if I’ve mentioned it here on my blog, but it’s pronounced “keera”

Phew!  What a list!  And I made it to 50!    Hopefully you learned something new about me today!
