“Our Dog Does Listen To Us…” is what my aunt said…
(This is an email we got recently from my aunt, Lori, regarding her dog Whitby)
Ok – in order to get our dog, Whitby, to go out side, we get him excited by saying “Go get the bunny! Go get the bunny!” and he gets so excited and runs out in the back yard. Well, this morning I was running behind and the dog wanted to go out so as I opened the patio door I said “Go get the bunny!” and he darted out. Within a minute Sarah (her daughter) is screaming up stairs to look at the dog – there he is, standing at the patio door with the “bunny” in his mouth, wagging his tail as if he was saying “Mom – I got the bunny! Look I got the bunny!”. I cannot believe he got one but no way was I going to open that door.
Anyways – no, the bunny is not dead – Whits did finally let him go and he ran under the fence into the neighbor’s yard. Thought I would share the story though.

well, that is good/bad I guess. LOL… interesting. My doggy loves going outside. She would go out if it was raining by herself. If we had a doggy door (which we don’t!) she would go out by herself I am sure.
How funny, tho, that he actually caught a rabbit. How big was the bunny? It looks a bit big.
Hope you’re having a blessed evening. I am praying for you, friend. Oh and I got you something, so I’ll be sending that to you soon.
I’m never good at getting packages sent out to people, but hopefully that will change!
Love,
Your SSA
LOL How fun, cute photo.
That is too cute! I bet that poor bunny was scared though! I have a rat terrier and she chased a bird down and caught it by the tail once! Dog’s are so obedient!
Very cute picture!
God Bless~

That happens a lot around our home! One minute everything is calm and then either a cat or dog will bring up a rabbit or a baby of some critter….either for fun or to impress us. I’ve heard it is the latter.
Have a Blessed Day!

Hi! We’re missionaries in Ukraine. I found your blog by searching for Noel Piper’s breakfast cake recipe. Thanks for posting it last year.
