Here is my mom’s recipe for some really yummy M&M cookies I made a few days ago - which are really healthy too!
In a large bowl mix together:
- 1 c. butter
- 1 c. butter flavored Crisco
- 2 heaping cups brown sugar
- 3/4 c. white sugar
Add to above ingredients:
- 5 medium sized eggs (or 4 extra large eggs)
- 2 T. pure vanilla
Sift together and then gradually add to above ingredients:
- 5 c. whole wheat flour (my mom grinds up the wheat and spelt berries together and flax seed)
- 2 t. salt
- 2 t. baking soda
- 1 t. baking powder
Also add:
- 3 c. instant oatmeal
- 24 oz. bag of M&Ms
Bake @ 375 degrees. 9-10 minutes per batch.
Note: We find the cookies bake best on a baking stone.

Hi Kira! Wow! they look so yummy! Thanks for the recipe, can’t wait to try them out! Thanks you for stopping by our blog by the way! =;)
Blessings!
Rachel
Oops! I was going to mention in my post that I wasn’t able to get a picture of the actual cookies I baked, due to my camera battery going dead,
so I substituted the one from Jupiter Images until I can get mine up!
The post just didn’t seem complete without an M&M cookie picture along with the post!
All other food pics on this blog I have taken myself.

Hi Kira! It’s been a while since I stopped by your blog and commented, so I thought I’d leave you another one.
Those cookies look (and sound!) good! Occasionally Mom makes Chocolate Chip cookies which are really good too, but I imagine M&M cookies would be good as well!
