How comforting it is, to know that whenever we are going through tough times, trials, tribulations, the Lord is with us and at work in us. He is with us everyday, every moment, with us even in those times of uncertainty, even when we don’t feel Him there. Though we may not understand why God allows certain things happen – we do know, that He will use it for His glory, and “work out everything for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28
One of the songs I think best explains this, is “Everyday” by Joel Sczebel and Todd Twining. It is one of my favorite songs to sing at church. The music is beautiful.
As recorded on Come Weary Saints…
In Your grace, You know where I walk
You know when I fall
You know all my ways
In Your love, I know You allow
What I cannot grasp
To bring You praise
Thank You for the trials
For the fire, for the pain
Thank You for the strength
Knowing You have ordained
Every day
Your great power is shown when I’m weak
You help me to see
Your love in this place
Perfect peace is filling my mind
And drawing my heart
To praise You again
In my uncertainty, Your Word is all I need
To know You’re with me every day (repeat)

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

I’ve never heard of that song before, but it is a good one. Especially this verse
“Thank You for the trials
For the fire, for the pain
Thank You for the strength
Knowing You have ordained”
