Sewing is a great skill to know, and I’ve been really wanting to get into it more, and learn how to make some skirts. So, my grandma came over a couple days ago and we spent some of the morning working on making a wrap skirt for me!

It was really fun. We were able to get the pattern cut out, and all pinned before my sister and I had to leave for a surprise party… 
all that’s left now is the sewing part! I’m looking to do that this week.

Cool! I really enjoy the finished product when I make a skirt! You’re right, sewing is such a beneficial skill, but I don’t like it too much.
The only kind of skirt I’ve done is one with an elastic waist, which is really easy! I hope you will show pictures when your skirt is done, because I’d love to see it!

Yes, sewing is a good skill to know. The material for your skirt looks pretty, and I’m sure the skirt will turn out lovely! I look forward to seeing the finished product.
I’m in the middle of making a retro style dress. It’s the sample dress to make sure the pattern will work. After I finish the sample, I hope to make the same dress out of the real material.
