My family and I started reading the book: Fast Facts on False Teachings by Dr. Ron Carlson and Ed Decker, after we had an encounter with some Jehovah’s Witnesses who came to our door. We thought this would be a great opportunity to share the Gospel, and we wanted to learn more about their religion so we would be better prepared next time. Here’s a little bit about the book:
You will find Fast Facts on False Teaching an easy-to-use resource and a great time-saver in you stand for God’s Word. And along the way, you’ll discover powerful insights for sharing the truth of the gospel with cult members and people ensnared by false religions and philosophies.
I am still going through it and it is soooo interesting! It makes me confident, that if I run into anyone, that with the Lord’s help, I know that I’ll be prepared, and ready to give an answer and share the Gospel.
Here is a great site by Dr. Ron Carlson about the Jehovah’s Witness’s and the trinity. It’s really interesting!
On this site, scroll down to How to Prove Through Scripture that Jesus Christ is God. This part has great verses to use. A verse that really stumps them is Revelation 1:18 – I am the Living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.
Their main denial and stumbling block is the doctrine of the deity of Jesus Christ.

Interesting.
Want a fact ? I guess you already have it but see:
“The Father and I are one .” (John 10.30 )
The greek word for “one” is neutral. There are three types of words in greek: masculine, feminine, and neutral.
Neutral is for words of essence. So Jesus here is saying that he has the same essence that the Father has.
The Pharisees obviously understood that he was claiming his deity.
Blessings !
(by the way, I am sorry to post comments everywhere, I just love your blog ! Haha !)
Hey, don’t worry, I love comments! And you are so sweet, Stephanie! I’m so glad you enjoy my blog!
I actually headed over to your blog, though, I must admit, that I can’t read French! Haha. I did try to leave a comment, but I don’t think it worked… so, I think I’ll have to stick with replying to you here on my blog if you don’t mind.
So anyway, thank you for taking the time to leave comments!!! I love to hear from my readers!
Ok thank you !
By the way your comment appeared on my blog no problem.
I love to hear from my readers too but I don’t want to disturb them ! Haha, that’s a paradox. I added you in my blogroll.
Oh, really? Good!
You know, I’ll try to find an online translator – then I’ll be able to comment and reply to your posts!
Thanks for adding me!!
Wow I can’t stop laughing, a single comment turned on a msn conversation !
Well… There are a lot of translator, such as Google Translation but his basic word is mistake.
Actually I had a blog in english for a few weeks, but I delete it. I live in France, christianity is weak, the number of atheists is increasing and my mission is here, so I have to help here and you have to help in USA.
That’s why I blog in french, but I am following blogs such as A pondering heart, the blog of Amanda Dixon, her sister Rachel, your blog
and the others from the blogroll of feelingfeminine.
